Mail a postcard from the Post Office in the lighthouse or sample the house specialty, piping hot homemade gingerbread cake at the Sou'wester Restaurant.

Named for explorer John Cabot and renown for it's spectacular scenery and warm hospitality, this is one of the world's "must sees". A trip to the Fortress of Louisbourg, found on the Marconi Trail, is one of Nova Scotia's most historic and rewarding experiences. Animators re-enact life and work in 1744.
The Evangeline Trail winds through the historic Annapolis Valley showcasing 400 years of history, Acadian culture, and fine wines. Visit Annapolis Royal, the oldest European settlement in Canada (est. 1605) and home to a host of historic attractions including Fort Anne, Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens, King's Theatre and numerous monuments & museums. Visit the Domaine de Grand Pré Winery where you can mix business with pleasure just an hour from the heart of the city. Stroll through vineyards and stop for lunch in "le Caveau" and finish off with a wine tasting or winery tour.
